Books & Beyond — Preethipura Donation Drive

Our first Roots initiative took us to the Preethipura Communities in Wattala, Sri Lanka — a residential care centre dedicated to children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Kairo Society collected and donated books, stationery, and essential learning materials to support the children there. The goal was simple: every child deserves access to the tools that help them learn, grow, and express themselves — regardless of their circumstances.

The response from our community was overwhelming. Thanks to everyone who contributed, donated, or simply spread the word. This is what Kairo Roots is about — taking the energy from our events and putting it toward something that matters.

We plan to return and do more. Watch this space.
